IF YOU’RE NOT A DJ, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WOULD BE?
Well djing is just a hobby for me. I have my real job since I’m done studying; I’m a designer of FUBU INTERNATIONAL. One of the International hip-hop clothing lines. So I’m probably still on this career even I’m not a dj.
WHAT IS NIGHTLIFE FOR YOU?
Nightlife!?! It’s a time of enjoyment and a stress reliever for me. It refreshes my mind.
COOLEST SUPERCLUB FOR YOU?
Supper club? As of today theirs plenty of clubs from side to side. It’s hard to say which one is better. Maganda kc and iba ung mga theme ng bawat isa. Pero lahat ng clubs sa metro manila is cool and fabulous.
WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE A DJ?
Actually I don’t want to be a dj before. I just love music especially hip-hop. It’s all started when my neighbor have their sound system. And does djs keep on playing their turntables, sila ung naging inspiration ko. Sila Dj kimozave, Dj Paul, Dj mastershock, Dj jingle. Pag nakita ko na sila dala nila ung turntable and mixer nila tumatakbo na ko para manood. And I keep on mind that I will learn how to scratch… hanggang sa natuto nalang ako. Dati drums ang hilig ko hindi turntables. Kc if I have the talent talaga. And u improves it. Maganda kalalabasan. Pero if u want it dahil you want to be popular and be astig... well wala mangyayari sayo. Kc yabang agad ung iniisip mo. We spin at clubs because we love the music. Not for the fame and money. We consider it as an honorarium. Bonus ung talent fee and fame. Makita lang naming na nagenjoy ung crowd and they dance like no tomorrow. Malaking bagay samin un.
HOW'S THE NIGHTLIFE INDUSTRY FOR YOU?
For me it’s different than before, mas wild dati, not like today. Limited mga galaw mo, because of paparazzi around, pictures and videos. You need to behave. And ngayon sorry to say this but. Mas masaming tambay kesa sa spenders. Before, you’ll be shy to go clubbing if u only have 500pesos on your pocket. Pero ngayon if u have guestlist, yosi, pamasahe and camera. Gimik na agad. I love the nightlife before. I love the crowd and the way they party.
FAVORITE LOCAL DJ?
My favorite local djs most if my mentors. Dj kimozave is number one, Dj jingle, Dj Paul sabong, Dj ser scratch, Dj manolet Dario, Dj mcraine, Dj krumps madami eh... lahat pioneer djs.
FAVORITE INTERNATIONAL DJ?
Dj jazzy jeff, Dj qbert, Dj rebel, Dj shortcut, Dj Apollo, Dj scratch, grand masta flash, Dj AM.
FAVORITE LOCAL PROMOTER?
Local promoter. Hahahaha!!! Syempre ung mga nakasama ko. We always do great events. VIBE ENTERTAINMENT, SKYHIGH, STRATOSPHERE. and to be added, STEAK PRODUCTION.
BEST EMCEE FOR YOU?
My best emcee well, mga kapatid ko sa industry randomly MC DASH, NATHAN J, LIKWID MC, JONAN AGUILAR, MC CHAZE, PHAT JORGE, PAULYMACK AND MY HOMEBOY LAYZIE FU and I like this new emcee’s MC RON.
