IF YOU’RE NOT A PROMOTER, WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WOULD BE?
Either a nurse in California or I would be managing my own advertising company here in the Philippines.


WHO IS JAYVEE ADVINCULA OUTSIDE THE CLUB?
Typical out going person who's very into sports and loves to hang-out with peers. I sometimes tend to seek for thrill and always looks to try something new to do.


THERE’S A LOT OF MUSHROOM PROMOTERS NOWADAYS. WHAT CAN YOU SAY ABOUT THEM?

I think that we all knew this was coming, as we all know people tend to grow old and get tired of the nightlife industry and eventually would be busy with personal responsibilities. And in this industry, majority of the network that we cater for are ranged from college students to people who are in their late 20’s. The clubs and restobars of course needs to get in touch with these kinds of networks and in order for them to do so, they tend to hire these new promoters. At some point, we all went through those times as we started out in promoting, so I guess instead of criticizing them I would rather set an example for them in order for them to know the do’s and don’ts in the nightlife industry and provide guidance as we keep this industry alive and rocking.


WHAT’S THE VISION AND MISSON OFGOODFELLAS?
Goodfellas Productions is an event promotions and marketing company that offers various services ranging from weekly parties to specially themed events from Manila to Boracay. Founded in January 2009, we've expanded our range from tactical events planning by adding event marketing consultancy that caters to companies' needs via multi platforms such as guerilla marketing and photography. We want our partners to attain brand affinity and equity that would lead to top-of-the-head recall and establish brand loyalty among the major consumers of the market.

WHAT IS NIGHTLIFE FOR YOU?
For me, the nightlife has been my ultimate source of relaxation and way of living. I find it very interesting to how it revolves and influences a lot of people. Enjoying the nightlife is experiencing different kinds of environments all put together as one. You get to meet different types of people in the industry may it be celebrities, politics, athletes or just simple people who wants to have a good time.

COOLEST SUPERCLUB FOR YOU?

I would say a lot and of course the clubs I promote, but there really has been some that do stand out. Before when I was still studying, I would say the best in the industry that really made clubbing reach the roof is of course Embassy Super Club. But then again, after all the years it has been operating another club made its mark as early as now, and that is Republiq at Newport Mall Resorts World Manila. I believe that Republiq stands out amongst all today and will be the ultimate trend setter for all the clubs in the metro.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE A PROMOTER?

I enjoy the fun it brings to all our networks and not only that, being a promoter I guess, comes naturally within me. I myself is such a club fanatic as early as my high school days so with all the experience and friends, being a promoter represent my personality.

HOW'S THE NIGHTLIFE INDUSTRY FOR YOU?
As a whole, with all the clubs, resto-bars, chill out places and the like, this industry will always have its own place in our lives. Even if sometimes it has its seasons of ups and downs, eventually something new will come up and again light up the fire in our everyday lives. The competition is really tough in this industry, every business has its own life span and as for the nightlife industry, it’s not very long now that clubs and bars keep on popping out from everywhere. So I would say that it is now becoming very suffocating at the same time unfiltered.
